Production Design - Set Building - Set Dressing - Art Direction - Stage Management
(BA Hons) Production design for stage and screen, First Class Honours Graduate from The Northern School of art.
Caitlin is a freelance Production designer with a great eye for detail and a passion for creating high quality productions. Through the use of clever set dressing, detail and depth she creates whole worlds through visual storytelling. By producing a reason for each element, colour used and piece of set dressing this ensures everything has a purpose and links to the story and characters. Which enables her to produce work that is not only fun, imaginative and creative but one that is visually interesting and has a great sense of realism.
Since graduating, Caitlin has been working in the entertainment industry on a variety of projects within Film, TV and theatre ranging from Small scale theatre, touring productions and Events to Short films and a feature Sci fi film. Working predominantly as Production designer, with experience working in the production side of projects as Production Manager and Stage Manager. She is experienced working with and managing a budget and being involved in a production team.
Caitlin has developed a comprehensive skill set from research, mood board creation, designing, technical drawing and model making to construction, painting, set decorating and prop sourcing. As well as hand drafted design work, She also uses digital software such as photoshop, illustrator, procreate and Indesign to produce digital design work. She is skilled at using sketchup and sketchup layout to produce 3D models and technical elevations and drawings.

She is a hardworking and organised individual, who is able to work on her own initiative. She is also a confident, creative person who has great leadership and time management skills.
Caitlin has a keen interest in Sustainability and tries to work sustainably within her practice wherever possible.
